RAYHAB

RAYHAB is the alt-pop moniker of Greek-Australian songwriter, producer and musician Natasha Newling. Echoing the lush sonic worlds of Kate Bush and Lorde, RAYHAB offers an intimate yet expansive new voice in alt-pop. Her live sets incorporate dance with cutting edge technology in a unique way, unseen in the Australian music landscape. “Truly believe nobody’s doing what RAYHAB’s doing in Australian alt-pop right now. Its like Florence and Lorde had a music baby who listened to Kate Bush and Portishead and started making bedroom pop.” - Jamie Taylor-Nielsen (Triple J presenter).

A 2024 APRA AMCOS 23% winner and resident producer and audio engineer at Forbes Street Studios, she’s worked with artists like Jessica Mauboy, Ronan Keating, PAMELA, Adam Newling and Marigolden. Her debut EP Residue is a bold, brooding body of work exploring self-absorption, memory, and meaning. Written, produced, and mixed by Newling herself.
